DEPOSIT AND CREDIT CARD INFORMATION:
ACCEPTED American Express, Diners Club, Japanese Credit Bureau Credit Card, MasterCard (not prepaid), Visa (not prepaid). Debit card not accepted unless otherwise stated below. A deposit amount of CHF 1000 will be held against your credit card for the duration of the rental. Your deposit is a guarantee held in the event of damage/theft of the vehicle. This will be automatically released if there is no theft or damage during the rental period. Please note that this does not represent your total excess liability which can be found in the Damage Waiver Liability section. Credit card(s) must be valid for up to 6 months after the rental has ended. NOT ACCEPTED: No other payment types will be accepted. A valid credit card in the first name and surname (no abbreviations) of the lead driver must be presented at the rental desk in order to pre-authorise/charge a deposit. The credit card(s) must be embossed and a PIN number may be required. In the event that you fail to present a valid credit card, there is a lack of sufficient funds available on the credit card or the credit card is not in the lead driver's name, the car rental agent may refuse to release the vehicle. In these instances, no funds paid will be reimbursed.

Young driver's age: 20 to 24 years. Charge 19.99 CHF per day. Maximum 198.99 CHF. Includes 7.7% tax
Customers who fall outside the age limitations will not be able to hire a car unless there is a young or senior driver fee specified in this section. Please note that if applicable, this fee will be included in the rental price and will be payable on arrival at the rental desk in the local currency.
Travel Restrictions
The vehicle selection can restrict travel to certain countries. For a description of these restrictions on admission, the countries are divided into three zones.
Zone 1: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Sweden, Switzerland, Spain and Vatican
Zone 2: Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia
Zone 3: All countries which are not in zone 1 or 2.
Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Range Rover, Aston Martin, Maserati and Volkswagen cars as well as all Jeeps/off-roaders are only allowed to enter Zone 1 countries in addition to L*** group in Poland and the Czech Republic. Luxury Cars are only permitted to enter in Zone I. Vehicles of all other brands may enter only in the zones 1 and 2.
Entry into any country in zone 3 is not permitted.
In case of offence against cross border and territorial restrictions all insurances lose their validity.
Charges when traveling abroad:
For travels into Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia a charge applies. In case of a one-way rental to one of the above-mentioned countries, the foreign use charge applies in addition to the one-way fee.
